About

Georgie Postlethwaite

Georgie Postlethwaite, owner of INTERIORS:designed, is an experienced, highly skilled and qualified interior designer.

INTERIORS:designed was borne out of Georgie’s desire to design beautiful spaces that create life long memories. Her design studio specializes in providing superior interior design services to residential and light commercial properties throughout the UK. Pivotal to her design ethos is the desire to fully understand the clients’ requirements, wishes and aspirations; thereby enabling her to return innovative and distinctive design schemes within budget and time frame.

One of her greatest strengths is the ability to imaginatively combine colour and pattern to great effect, providing even the most colour adverse clients with a finished scheme that reflects their personality and most importantly, suits the space that it has been designed for.

She is a firm believer that good interior design should be available to all.

“I pride myself on treating all client projects with the same degree of professionalism. Regardless of whether I’m sourcing a rug, designing a lighting scheme or completely re-working an entire property. The client places their trust in me and I will work tirelessly to ensure the end result matches their initial aspirations.”

INTERIORS:designed provides a highly personal level of service and commitment that is sometimes missing from larger, more formal design studios. Georgie’s warmth, flair and obsession with perfection ensures that client’s return time and again to secure her skills.

Georgie is a fully qualified interior designer having gained a Diploma with Merit in Interior Design from KLC School of Design, London.

Georgie has always been passionate about good interior design – how it makes spaces function effectively, how it affects mood and well-being; and how the perfect blend of colour, texture, pattern and finish can increase the aesthetic value of a property.

Her zeal for creating beautiful spaces has been finely honed through projects on residential properties, both large and small. The hands on experience she gleaned from this work formed a solid basis for her career in interior design.

Winning a place at the prestigious KLC School of Design to study interior design further cemented her desire to push her creative boundaries. Being able to fully immerse herself in this abundant environment enabled her to grow as a designer. Being presented with the prestigious KLC Tutor Award 2012 rewarded this commitment.
